Innoit Consulting in Madrid is seeking a Platform Operations Engineer to join an international team responsible for the stability, availability and continuous improvement of a MuleSoft‑based integration platform. This hands‑on role focuses on production support, automation and reliability, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure a secure, scalable service.

• 5+ years of experience administering MuleSoft platforms in production.
• Proven experience providing L3 support and incident troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with MuleSoft Runtime Manager.
• Strong experience administering Flex Gateway (API Gateway).
• Experience managing OpenShift platforms.
• Knowledge of Terraform and IaC.
• Experience with ArgoCD, GitOps and CI/CD practices.
• Experience with GitHub and version control workflows.
• Operational knowledge of AWS and/or Azure cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of OAuth2, OpenID Connect, authentication and API security.
• Experience within ITIL frameworks.
• Ability to lead resolution of complex technical issues and collaborate across teams.
• Professional working proficiency in English (C1).

We are looking for a Platform Operations Engineer to join an international team responsible for ensuring the stability, availability and continuous improvement of a business‑critical integration platform.

This is a highly technical, hands‑on role focused on platform operations and advanced production support. You will play a key role in resolving complex incidents, improving platform reliability and driving operational automation, while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure a secure, stable and scalable service. This is not an API Developer position — we are looking for a professional with strong experience in MuleSoft platform administration and operations.

The project

You will join an international technology environment where reliability, operational excellence and automation are at the core of the platform strategy.

Working within an enterprise integration platform, you will support production environments, lead the resolution of complex technical issues and contribute to the continuous improvement of both the platform and its operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide L3 production support for the MuleSoft platform.
• Lead the resolution of critical incidents, advanced troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Ensure the stability, availability and performance of the platform.
• Administer and maintain MuleSoft Platform environments and Runtime Manager .
• Manage and administer Flex Gateway (API Gateway) .
• Administer OpenShift environments.
• Coordinate and support deployments, releases and production changes.
• Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform .
• Work with ArgoCD , GitOps workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
• Drive operational automation and continuous platform improvements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks and knowledge base articles.
• Collaborate with international teams and act as a technical reference for platform operations.
• Follow ITIL best practices for incident, change and problem management.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience administering and operating MuleSoft platforms in production environments.
• Proven experience providing L3 support , managing critical incidents and performing advanced troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with MuleSoft Runtime Manager .
• Strong experience administering Flex Gateway (API Gateway) .
• Experience managing OpenShift platforms.
• Knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Experience with ArgoCD , GitOps and CI/CD practices.
• Experience working with GitHub and version control workflows.
• Operational knowledge of AWS and/or Azure cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of OAuth2 , OpenID Connect , authentication, authorization and API security.
• Experience working within ITIL frameworks.
• Ability to lead the resolution of complex technical issues and collaborate effectively across multiple teams.
