Business Insights is seeking an experienced MuleSoft Platform Operations & Automation Engineer to join a globally distributed team focused on integration platform operations, automation, and continuous improvement.

The role centers on platform engineering and operational excellence, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance of MuleSoft platforms through automation, capacity management, and service optimization initiatives. Hybrid work model is available.

Formación

• 5–7 years of experience in MuleSoft Platform Management / Operations.
• Strong expertise with MuleSoft Omni Gateway (Flex Gateway).
• Hands-on Terraform experience.
• Strong GitHub experience.
• Experience with OpenShift.
• Knowledge of API security standards and implementation: OAuth, OpenID.
• Foundational knowledge of AWS.
• Foundational knowledge of Azure.
• Experience with ITIL processes.
• Experience with ArgoCD.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience operating in multicultural and international environments.
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent field.
• English level C1.
• Ability to work autonomously in cross-functional teams.
• Availability for occasional out-of-hours support.
• Hybrid model (3 days onsite / 2 days remote).
• Availability for occasional travel or short-term international assignments.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions to reduce manual operational activities.
• Identify recurring operational tasks and implement automation initiatives to improve efficiency.
• Develop automation solutions using Python, PowerShell, Shell scripting, or platform-native tools.
• Manage platform performance, capacity, availability, and scalability.
• Design and implement self-healing and auto-remediation capabilities.
• Perform utilization monitoring, growth forecasting, and capacity planning activities.
• Drive platform stability and performance improvement initiatives.
• Analyze recurring operational issues and implement corrective and preventive improvements.
• Support major incidents and service restoration activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external providers in an international environment.
• Produce technical documentation, operational runbooks, and knowledge-sharing materials.
• Ensure knowledge transfer and operational readiness for support teams.

This role is centered on platform engineering and operational excellence, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of MuleSoft platforms through automation, capacity management, and service optimization initiatives.

Required Skills

Mandatory

• 5–7 years of experience in MuleSoft Platform Management / Operations (not API development).

• Strong expertise with MuleSoft Omni Gateway (Flex Gateway).

• Hands-on experience with Terraform.

• Strong experience with GitHub.

• Experience with OpenShift.

• Knowledge of API security standards and implementation: OAuth, OpenID.

• Foundational knowledge of AWS.

• Foundational knowledge of Azure.

• Experience working with ITIL processes.

• Experience with ArgoCD.

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Experience operating in multicultural and international environments.
