Visium is seeking a Platform Engineering Director to lead the design, build, and evolution of client-facing AI and Data platforms. You will be the technical authority and delivery lead for our most complex programs, ensuring scalable, adoptable, and transformative solutions.

You will directly manage forward-deployed platform engineering teams, shape platform strategy, grow accounts, and mentor engineers and engagement managers, applying Azure-focused, CI/CD, and IaC expertise to real business

Formación

• Experience leading large-scale AI and Data platform programs.
• Proven consulting delivery track record for major projects.
• Deep technical expertise across CI/CD, IaC, cloud design (Azure), and automation.
• End-to-end delivery of AI use cases on enterprise platforms (MLOps, lakehouse, AI workflows).
• Proven people leadership in fast-paced environments.
• Commercial acumen with account growth and client partnerships.
• Excellent communication for technical and executive audiences.
• Outgoing leadership style and ability to lead from the front.
• Fluent in English; French and/or German are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Architect and lead the delivery of complex AI and Data platform programs, spanning cloud infrastructure design, automation, CI/CD pipelines, and IaC, with a focus on Azure.
• Define and drive platform engineering standards and best practices across engagements, ensuring repeatability and long-term client value.
• Build and maintain relationships with senior client stakeholders, including C-level and VP Engineering personas, as a hands-on technical advisor.
• Lead and mentor a team of platform engineers and engagement managers, cultivating engineering excellence and ownership.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing accounts, partnering with commercial teams to expand Visium’s footprint.
• Champion an inspiring, outward-facing engineering culture that attracts top talent and energizes clients.

Role

As a Platform Engineering Director, you will lead the design, build, and evolution of Visium’s client‑facing AI and Data platform capabilities. You are the technical authority and delivery lead for our most complex platform programs – the person who ensures that what we build is not only technically excellent but also adoptable, scalable, and genuinely transformative. You will directly manage forward‑deployed platform engineering teams, drive platform strategy across engagements, and act as a trusted technical advisor to senior client stakeholders. You bring hands‑on depth in the modern data and AI platform stack, from infrastructure‑as‑code and CI/CD to cloud architecture and production AI use cases, combined with the leadership presence and commercial instinct to grow accounts and inspire teams.

As a Platform Engineering Director, you will work on

• Architect and lead the delivery of complex AI and Data platform programs, spanning cloud infrastructure design, automation, CI/CD pipelines, and IaC, from initial scoping through to production deployment. Our focus is on Azure
• Define and drive platform engineering standards and best practices across engagements, ensuring repeatability, reliability, and long‑term client value
• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, including C‑Level and VP Engineering personas, acting as a hands‑on technical advisor who earns trust through delivery
• Lead and mentor a team of platform engineers and engagement managers, cultivating a culture of engineering excellence, innovation, and ownership
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing accounts, partnering with the commercial team to expand Visium’s platform footprint
• Champion an inspiring, outward‑facing engineering culture, one that attracts strong talent and energizes clients with a clear and compelling vision for what great platform engineering looks like

Requirements

• Proven, hands‑on experience leading large‑scale platform engineering programs in AI and Data – you have built, shipped and operated production‑grade platforms, not just designed them
• Mastered the consulting business – you know exactly how the business works and have a proven track record in delivering successful large projects
• Deep technical expertise across the modern platform stack: CI/CD, infrastructure‑as‑code, cloud platform design (focus Azure), and automation at scale
• Demonstrated experience delivering AI and Data use cases end‑to‑end on enterprise platforms, including MLOps pipelines, lakehouse architectures, and AI‑based workflows
• Proven people leadership – you have hired, grown, and retained high‑performing platform engineering teams in fast‑paced consulting or product environments
• Commercial acumen and a track record of contributing to account growth, whether through identifying upsell opportunities, leading presales technical conversations, or building long‑term client partnerships
• Outstanding communication and presence – you can translate complex platform concepts into compelling narratives for both technical and executive audiences, and you do so with energy and conviction
• An inspiring, outgoing personality – you lead from the front, bring others with you, and make the work feel meaningful
• Fluent in English; French and/or German are a plus
