Airbus Defence and Space in Getafe, Madrid, is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Software Mission Systems Team. The selected candidate will help build our internal PaaS and automation tools, enabling secure and efficient delivery of mission-critical software.

Responsibilities include designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, IaC, Docker/Podman, and KVM/QEMU, and developing APIs and tooling for self-service deployment. Collaboration in a multicultural, international team is expected.

Formación

• Education: Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent technical experience.
• Experience: At least 5 years in Software Engineering, DevOps, or Platform Engineering.
• Languages: English and Spanish proficiency (written and spoken).
• Technical knowledge: Linux administration, network configuration, Python/Bash scripting, and CI/CD tools.

Responsabilidades

• Design, configure, and implement robust CI/CD pipelines and automated quality integration (code analysis, linters, and GUI testing frameworks).
• Develop software architecture, APIs, and internal tooling for the internal PaaS for seamless self-service deployment.
• Create automated virtualized test environments using Docker/Podman and KVM/QEMU for production-like simulations.
• Automate infrastructure deployment with IaC and scripting (Bash/Python).
• Optimize virtual network architectures and middleware (DDS) for high-throughput, real-time data.
