Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Getafe (Madrid) seeks a Software Engineer to join the Software Mission Systems Team. You will help build our internal PaaS and automation ecosystem, deliver robust CI/CD pipelines, and create tooling and virtual labs for the development team to deploy mission-critical software safely and efficiently.

The role emphasizes Linux administration, Python/Bash scripting, and experience with CI/CD tools, Docker, Podman, and KVM/QEMU.

Formación

• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent technical experience.
• 5+ years in Software Engineering, DevOps, or Platform Engineering.
• Advanced English.

Responsabilidades

• Design, configure, and implement robust CI/CD pipelines and automated quality integration (code analysis, linters, and GUI testing frameworks).
• Develop software architecture, APIs, and internal tooling for internal PaaS for seamless self-service deployment.
• Create and deploy automated virtualized test environments using Docker/Podman and KVM/QEMU.
• Automate infrastructure deployment with IaC and advanced scripting (Bash/Python).
• Optimize virtual network architectures and middleware (DDS) for high-throughput data communications.
• Produce technical documentation including platform designs and developer self-service guides.
