Lear in Barcelona (Catalonia) seeks an experienced Production Operations Leader to oversee manufacturing, lead teams, refine processes, and coordinate with logistics, quality, and engineering to ensure on-time, high-quality production. You will drive improvements, cost reductions, and readiness for new product launches while upholding safety standards.

The role offers exposure to cross-functional collaboration in a globally recognized company with a strong manufacturing footprint.

Formación

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Technical Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent.
• 4+ years of experience in a similar production leadership role in manufacturing.
• Experience in the automotive industry, preferably in a Just-in-Time (JIT) environment.
• Familiarity with production planning systems, including SAP/MRP.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsabilidades

• Lead production activities to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous operations
• Develop and implement production plans meeting quality, cost, and delivery targets
• Optimize human, material, and equipment resources to maximize plant performance
• Ensure compliance with production standards and drive process improvements
• Drive cost reduction initiatives while maintaining productivity and quality
• Collaborate with Engineering to support new product launches and production readiness
• Partner with Quality to sustain continuous quality improvement
• Promote employee development, safety, environmental compliance, and healthy working conditions
