ContourGlobal is recruiting for a Plant Manager based at our Orellana CSP plant in Badajoz, Spain. The role requires overseeing day-to-day plant operations, safety, and team leadership to meet dispatch and performance targets.

As a key leader in CSP operations, you will drive continuous improvement, manage budgets, and coordinate with maintenance and safety teams to ensure compliance and optimal asset performance.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate resources and prioritise activities to ensure CSP plant operation meets Dispatch requirements.
• Assess current plant performance focusing on efficiency, safety, and cost reporting.
• Develop operations strategy to achieve objectives and implement best practices.
• Provide technical guidance to operations and maintenance teams on-site.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety protocols and environmental standards.
• Oversee training and development of H&S teams and plant personnel.
• Approve Plant Procedures, Purchase Orders and related contracts with vendors.
• Lead emergency planning and ensure Management System integration across processes.

We are recruiting for PLANT MANAGER based in our Orellana CSP plant in Badajoz.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and coordinate resources, prioritize activities and ensure Plant operation in accordance with Dispatch requirements.
• Evaluate the current performance of the plant assets, ensuring efficiency, equipment effectiveness, safety, environment, as well as a cost evaluation, monitoring and performance reports (including daily, weekly and monthly reports).
• Develop an operations strategy to ensure that objectives are achieved.
• Establishment of “best practices” and effective operations processes, with technical expertise that can be nurtured and shared throughout the company.
• Provide technical advice and solutions to operations and maintenance teams in the field.
• Ensure the implementation of company policies and procedures, including operational health and safety protocols.
• Ensure that the plant operates below its limits for environmental emissions, and the highest international safety standards.
• Build and manage H&S teams. This includes finding technically capable candidates, developing training and development goals and plans, as well as evaluating the performance of these employees.
• Ensure that the processes and procedures of operations, maintenance, safety, environment, and administrative for the business are established and complied with.
• Develop manuals, reporting tools, training programs and operational plans to ensure that the strategy of operations in CSP plants are consistent within the company's portfolio.
• Establish a strategic planning for scheduled maintenance inspections (major and minor).
• Control and monitoring of the financial project, analyse the cost structure and identify areas for improvement of results.
• Approval of Plant Procedures.
• Approval of Purchase Orders and associated contracts or commitments with vendors or needed for the plant O&M.
• Participate in the process of hiring plant personnel.
• Act as Head of Emergency Plan, in case of emergency, as defined in the PEI.
• Coordinate the technical and safety training necessary to improve the professional skills of your team.
• Be responsible for the effectiveness of the established Management System.
• Ensure that the policy and objectives are compatible with the context and strategic direction of the organization.
• Guarantee the integration of the Management System in the business processes.
• Promote the process and risk-based approach.
• Guarantee the necessary resources for the Management System.
• Communicate the importance of the requirements of the Management System.
• Guarantee that the Management System achieves the expected results.
• Engage, direct and support those who contribute to the effectiveness of the Management System.
• Support other management roles to demonstrate your leadership.
• Promote continuous improvement.
