Skydance Animation Madrid is seeking a motivated Pipeline Engineer Trainee to join our studio on a paid, on-site internship. You will gain hands-on experience with our pipeline tools and work closely with leaders to learn transferable skills for a career in animation technology.

The role requires you to be in your final year of an Associate, Bachelor, or Master’s program, with Python and PyQt scripting abilities, a solid engineering mindset, and a strong interest in animation and technology.

Formación

• BS degree in Computer Science or similar field.
• Proficiency in Python and PyQt.
• Interest in 3D animation and technology.
• Strong writing, critical thinking and multi-tasking.

Responsabilidades

• Features development and bugs fixing for proprietary software used in concurrent film productions.
• Follow the team's technical guidelines.
• Assist other team members when necessary.
• Follow the Tutor’s guidance.

Skydance Animation Madrid is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Pipeline Engineer Trainee to join our studio!

Our Internship Program offers its own unique learning opportunities. You will have the chance to network and meet with Skydance leaders, learn transferable skills, and gain real-world experience. It is an experience ideal for those moving from the classroom to the industry.

This is a paid internship that will be held on-site.

Responsibilities

• Featuresdevelopment andbugsfixing for proprietary software used in concurrent film productions.

Requirements

• Must be available for at least 3 months onsite (from Monday until Friday, 35h/week).
• Must be currently enrolled in your last year in an Associate, Bachelor, or Master’s program at an accredited institution.
• Self-starter with proficient writing and critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task.
• BS degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study.
• Scripting skills withexpertisein Python andPyQt.
• Solid engineering skills with an appreciation of code craft, code health, and addressing technical debt.
• Strong technical aptitude related to 3D animation isa must.
• Highly motivated and interested in Animation and Technology.
• Good team player!
• High English level.
• Spanish desirable.
