Skydance Animation Madrid is seeking a motivated Animation Trainee to join our studio. This paid internship offers unique learning opportunities, networking with Skydance leaders, and real-world experience as you transition from classroom to industry.

Participants will work on-site in Madrid for at least 3 months, receive guidance from a tutor, and develop skills in body mechanics, posing, and applying artistic feedback within our workflows and routines.

Formación

• Must be available for at least 3 months onsite.
• Currently enrolled in final year of an accredited Associate/Bachelor/Master program.
• Self-starter with writing and critical thinking skills.
• Highly motivated with interest in Animation and Technology.
• Good team player with strong English skills.
• Spanish ability is a plus.

Job Description

Skydance Animation Madrid is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Animation Trainee to join our studio!

Our Internship Program offers its own unique learning opportunities. You will have the chance to network and meet with Skydance leaders, learn transferable skills, and gain real-world experience. It is an experience ideal for those moving from the classroom to the industry.

This is a paid internship that will be held on-site.

Responsibilities

• Work through different assignments under your tutor’s guidance.


• Learn to understand and apply artistic feedback.


• Build a solid foundation in body mechanics, appeal, posing, and entertainment value.


• Become familiar with the studio’s workflows, protocols, and routines.


• Follow the Tutor’s guidance.

Requirements

• Must be available for at least 3 months onsite (from Monday until Friday, 35h/week).


• Must be currently enrolled in your last year in an Associate, Bachelor, or Master's program at an accredited institution.


• Self-starter with proficient writing and critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task.


• Highly motivated and interested in Animation and Technology.


• Good team player!


• High English level.


• Spanish desirable.
