Gamma Recruitment seeks a motivated Fermentation Technician to join its R&D team in Spain. You will support the operation of a pilot-scale microbial fermentation plant, handling bioreactors, spray dryers, and downstream processing equipment.

You will assist senior scientists, monitor processes, collect samples, and maintain equipment, while following safety protocols and contributing to applied research in alternative protein sources.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on experience in a lab, pilot plant, or industrial fermentation setting.
• Familiarity with basic lab procedures and fermentation processes.
• Experience handling microbial cultures and basic equipment.
• Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Able to follow instructions and work in a team.

Responsabilités

• Prepare, operate, and clean fermentation and downstream processing equipment.
• Monitor fermentation processes and record process parameters.
• Collect samples and assist in biomass and enzyme production projects.
• Conduct routine lab and equipment maintenance (cleaning, sterilization, basic troubleshooting).
• Adhere to safety and operational protocols.
