Lace Lithography, founded in 2023 and with bases in Bergen (Norway) and Barcelona (Spain), is scaling its team to advance chip lithography technology. We seek researchers who thrive on complex, evolving problems and who can drive theory to implementation in a fast-paced environment.

The role involves modeling electron beams, cross-team collaboration, and contributing to documentation and code, with opportunities for relocation and growth within a world-class team.

Formación

• The candidate holds a PhD or equivalent level of experience.
• Experience modeling/designing electron beams or similar systems.
• Strong programming competency in Python or Julia.

Responsabilidades

At Lace Lithography, we're scaling up our team and looking for a passionate and sharp talent to join us.

In our company we build chip lithography technology that will enable the next 100 years of chip manufacturing. Founded in 2023, we're based in Bergen (Norway) and Barcelona (Spain), and backed by some of the world's most ambitious investors.

What you'll do:

• Solve problems that stand in the way of producing intense low energy electron beams

• Collaborate across teams on theoretical, simulation, and experimental projects

• Produce and maintain high quality documentation and code, as well as review documentation and code written by colleagues

• Mentor junior members of the team

Who you are:

• An engineer or physicist that thrives in a collaborative fast paced environment working on complex, interconnected, and evolving problems. You have a strong understanding of the physics of non-relativistic electromagnetism as well as are skilled at modeling such systems. You are excited to own a challenging problem and guide it from theory to implementation.

Minimum Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent level of experience

• Experience modeling/designing electron beams OR similar systems

• Competency in programming, particularly Python or Julia

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with low energy electron beams

• Experience with Hall Effect thrusters

• Experience with thermionic emission

• Experience with low temperature low pressure plasmas

• Experience with plasma instabilities

• Hands on lab experience
