CEIMM at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid invites applications for 1 fully funded PhD position under the Horizon Europe MSCA Doctoral Networks. You will work on wireless power transfer for space missions, including transmitter coil design, advanced control, and integration with drones and rovers.

Secondments at ESA and UMONS strengthen the international training program. Applicants should hold a Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Physics, or related fields, with experience in

Formación

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Physics, or related discipline.
  • Experience in power electronics, modelling and design of magnetic components, energy conversion, modelling and control of power converters, simulation and programming tools (MATLAB, Simulink, Python).
  • Strong analytical skills and English communication.

Responsabilidades

  • Design wireless charging solutions for future space missions.
  • Develop universal transmitting coils and advanced control techniques for reliable charging of autonomous vehicles such as drones and rovers.
  • Collaborate within an international consortium and contribute to MSCA PhD training and secondments.
