Job summary

Grup Montaner is hiring a Junior Industry Manager for the Personal Care division to steer growth across Spain and Portugal with substantial autonomy to define the commercial strategy and build long-term partnerships with customers and international manufacturers.

You will identify new business opportunities through a technical, consultative sales approach, manage the sales cycle from prospecting to closing, and collaborate with Regulatory, Technical Lab, and Inside Sales teams to focus on growth.

Qualifications

• University degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Food Technology, or related scientific discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead the growth of the Personal Care business unit by defining and executing the commercial strategy for your market.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities through a technical, consultative sales approach.
• Build long-term strategic relationships with industrial customers, becoming their trusted business partner.
• Represent leading international manufacturers, working collaboratively to develop the market and introduce innovative technologies and solutions.
• Monitor market trends, identify new applications, and uncover growth opportunities within your industry.
• Manage relationships with international suppliers and collaborate on market development strategies.
• Work closely with Inside Sales to deliver tailored solutions that meet customer needs.
• Manage medium- to long-term sales cycles, providing both technical and commercial follow-up until business opportunities are successfully converted.
• Conduct regular face-to-face customer visits across Spain and Portugal (approximately 3–5 visits per week).
• Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
