Job summary

Grup Montaner, working with a leading European distributor of specialty chemicals, invites applications for an Industry Manager in the Food & Pharma division responsible for Spain and Portugal. The role offers autonomy to shape commercial strategy and foster partnerships with customers and international manufacturers.

You will drive growth, develop market opportunities, and collaborate with Regulatory, Technical Laboratory, and Inside Sales teams to deliver high-value applications and solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in B2B sales within chemicals or industrials is preferred.
• Ability to define and execute a commercial strategy for a market.
• Strong stakeholder management with customers and manufacturers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the growth of the Food & Pharma unit for Spain and Portugal.
• Identify new business opportunities with a consultative approach.
• Build long-term strategic relationships with customers and international manufacturers.
• Represent leading international manufacturers and develop market opportunities.
• Monitor market trends and identify new applications.
• Manage relationships with international suppliers and collaborate on market development.
• Coordinate with Inside Sales to tailor solutions for customers.
• Oversee medium- to long-term sales cycles and close opportunities.
• Conduct regular face-to-face customer visits across Spain and Portugal (3–5 per week).
• Represent the company at trade shows and industry events.
