Job summary

DWS Group is seeking an Operations Specialist in Madrid to lead performance measurement and attribution for multi-asset portfolios. The role collaborates with Portfolio Management and internal teams to ensure accurate calculations, insights, and compliant reporting.

The candidate will contribute to automation, AI-enabled analytics, and continuous process improvements while adhering to governance and industry standards. Fluency in English is expected, with German a plus.

Qualifications

Degree in finance, economics, mathematics, business administration or comparable qualification.
At least five years of professional experience in performance measurement or attribution.
Strong knowledge of Brinson, factor-based, equity and fixed income attribution; multi-asset experience is a plus.
Familiarity with GIPS standards and performance measurement processes.
Experience with data tools and platforms such as Aladdin, State Street StatePro, FactSet or Bloomberg.

Responsibilities

Perform daily and monthly performance calculations and multi-level attribution.
Deliver monthly performance attribution analyses in coordination with Portfolio Management and internal teams.
Explain alpha generation, allocation and selection effects, risk-adjusted returns across asset classes.
Collaborate with Portfolio Managers and Client Relationship Managers to explain results and resolve data questions.
Advance methodologies and ensure consistency with industry standards and GIPS.
