Airwallex is seeking a People Operations professional to lead HR operations for EMEA with a hybrid, Barcelona-based role (4 days/week). You will own onboarding, offboarding, payroll inputs, benefits, and HRIS management while scaling processes and culture across the region.

You will collaborate with global teams to ensure compliance, drive employee engagement, and improve automation using AI. A dynamic, fast-growing environment awaits.

Formación

• Experience in People Operations in a high-growth environment.
• Strong knowledge of local HR practices, benefits, and compliance.
• Hands-on operator who can own admin-heavy workflows.

Responsabilidades

• Own onboarding and offboarding end-to-end.
• Serve as primary POC for HR inquiries; manage ticketing with timely responses.
• Maintain accurate HRIS and payroll data; run audits and data changes.
• Support payroll processes, including commissions/bonuses; audit inputs.
• Administer benefits programs and ensure compliance across markets.
• Oversee day-to-day office operations: supplies, vendors, access, equipment.
• Greet visitors, manage deliveries; coordinate with building management.
• Support employee engagement initiatives (events, celebrations, offsites).
• Help build scalable in-office culture as the office grows.
• Identify inefficiencies in manual workflows; drive process documentation and AI automation.
