SumUp in Barcelona is seeking a Working Student to join the People Operations & Payroll team. You will gain hands-on experience supporting payroll cycles, onboarding, employment contracts, and HR operations while the company scales.

The role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and a proactive mindset, with exposure to international payroll, data management, and opportunities to learn from experienced HR professionals.

Formación

• Enrolled in a Spanish university studying HR, BA, Economics, or related field.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• Well-organized with attention to detail.
• Comfortable with data and spreadsheets (Excel a plus).
• Curious, proactive, eager to learn.
• Able to handle confidential information responsibly.
• Good team player.

Responsabilidades

• Support payroll operations for monthly cycles and communicate with payroll provider.
• Prepare employment contracts and onboarding/offboarding documentation.
• Assist with benefits administration and employee records.
• Respond to employee questions via ticketing system and email.
• Maintain HR data across systems and improve processes.
