Job summary

Cellnex Telecom is seeking a senior functional expert in People technology with a strong focus on SAP SuccessFactors to simplify, standardise and automate People processes, and to drive AI-enabled solutions across modules, reporting and local systems.

You will advise stakeholders, design and test functional solutions, and lead adoption in an international context, collaborating with IT, external partners and country teams. The role is hybrid with Barcelona HQ involvement.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in People technology, People process digitalisation, automation or People transformation, ideally in international/complex organisations.
• Hands-on functional experience with SAP SuccessFactors, including evaluating functionality and configuration options.
• Experience translating People process needs into functional system solutions and collaborating with People teams, IT and external partners.
• Experience identifying dependencies and impacts across People processes, systems, reporting solutions, integrations and countries.

About the Role

At Cellnex, we're looking for a senior functional expert in People technology, process digitalisation and automation, with a strong focus on SAP SuccessFactors. You'll identify how our People processes can be simplified, standardised, automated and better supported by technology and AI, turning business needs into practical, scalable and user-centric solutions.

You'll be an internal expert and trusted adviser to People teams, challenging existing ways of working and improving the employee and manager experience across SuccessFactors modules, reporting solutions, local systems and country processes. You'll also help develop People Intelligence, People reporting and data-driven decision-making by connecting People technology, data and business requirements.

What You'll Do

Advise

• Act as senior functional specialist, advising People stakeholders on system capabilities, configuration options and relevant product developments.
• Keep your knowledge of SuccessFactors modules, releases and leading practices up to date, proactively sharing opportunities and implications with the People function.
• Bring expert input to the People technology and automation roadmap, prioritisation discussions and business cases, aligning business needs and technology capabilities with People Project Management and IT.

Improve and automate

• Analyse end-to-end People processes to find opportunities for simplification, standardisation, centralisation, digitalisation and automation, focused on user experience and business value.
• Assess whether a need can be met through existing functionality, configuration, process redesign or automation, recommending the simplest sustainable solution before requesting technical development.
• Identify and accelerate automation, digitalisation and AI-driven opportunities across the employee lifecycle, exploring emerging People technology with curiosity and sound judgement, proposing practical use cases and growing your expertise as the landscape evolves.
• Work with IT to assess technical feasibility, architecture alignment, security considerations and implementation approaches.
• Support international initiatives to integrate, centralise or standardise People processes and systems, considering local requirements and global dependencies.

Design, configure and test

• Translate People needs into clear functional designs, user stories, business rules, workflows and acceptance criteria for the delivery teams.
• Identify risks, dependencies and downstream impacts across SuccessFactors modules, People reporting, local systems, payroll integrations and country processes before changes are implemented.
• Perform approved functional configurations in SuccessFactors, within governance, authorisation and segregation-of-duties frameworks and following IT change-management and solution-governance processes.
• Prototype, test and validate enhancements, coordinating user acceptance testing and confirming solutions meet business-process, data and employee-experience requirements, in partnership with IT where technical changes are involved.

Report and drive adoption

• Define and improve functional People reporting and dashboards, connecting People requirements with SuccessFactors reporting, Power BI and other People Intelligence solutions.
• Support adoption through functional documentation, knowledge transfer, training materials and practical guidance for People teams, managers and employees.

What We're Looking For

Education

• University degree or equivalent professional background in Business Administration, Human Resources, Engineering, Information Systems, Technology or a related discipline.
• Additional training or certification in SAP SuccessFactors, People digital transformation, process improvement, automation, data, AI or change management will be valued.

Experience

• 10 years of experience in People technology, People process digitalisation, automation or People transformation, ideally gained in an international and complex organisation.
• Hands‑on functional experience with SAP SuccessFactors, including the ability to evaluate functionality and configuration options and execute selected changes within defined governance.
• Experience translating People process needs into functional system solutions and working collaboratively with People teams, IT and external implementation partners.
• Experience identifying dependencies and impacts across People processes, systems, reporting solutions, integrations and countries.
• Experience with payroll integrations and local HR systems will be valued.
• Experience supporting the integration, centralisation or standardisation of People processes in an international environment will be highly valued.
• Exposure to People reporting, dashboards, Power BI or People Intelligence solutions will be valued.
