Solera in Madrid is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Processor to support end-to-end payroll operations across multiple EMEA countries. You will ensure accurate data entry, validation, and coordination with local vendors so employees are paid correctly and on time.

Responsibilities include managing payroll end-to-end using ADP Celergo, aligning data between HRIS (Workday) and payroll systems, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining in-country payroll processes.

Formación

  • Bachelor's degree plus 3–6 years of payroll experience or equivalent
  • Experience with Workday HRIS and ADP payroll providers is required
  • Proficient with MS Office and payroll data analysis tools

Responsabilidades

  • Process end-to-end payroll for multiple countries using ADP Celergo platform
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance to align HRIS and payroll data
  • Resolve payroll issues and inquiries across EMEA regions
  • Support payroll relationships with ADP Celergo and in-country partners
  • Ensure compliance with payroll laws and maintain in-country payroll processes
  • Identify and implement payroll improvements and efficiencies

The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Processor to support end-to-end payroll operations across multiple EMEA countries. You wil l focus on accurate data entry, validation, and coordination with local vendors to ensure employees are paid correctly and on time. These qualities enable the team to achieve its mission and meet its responsibilities to the people it employs by supporting their output and the achievement of business objectives .

Duties
  • Responsible for the efficient end-to-end payroll processing for multiple countries and/or entities utilizing the ADP Celergo platform and in-country partners .
  • Working closely with both HR and Finance to ensure all employee payroll data is aligned across both the HRIS and Payroll platforms.
  • Accurately resolve payroll issues and/or discrepancies; research, troubleshoot and respond to a wide range of inquiries related to the EMEA payroll, from cross-functional departments and employees.
  • Closely working and effectively supporting the payroll relationship with ADP Celergo and in-country partners.
  • Ensuring best practice and legislative compliance in all day-to-day payroll administration/activities.
  • Documenting, maintaining in-country payroll processes and procedures.
  • Focusing on continuous improvements, identifying and implementing payroll improvement opportunities.
EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree and typically 3 - 6 years of direct Payroll experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Skills
  • Must have proficient computer skills in Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to perform basic Internet research is also preferred.
  • Proficiency working in HRIS Systems (Workday and ADP preferred).
Mathematical Skills

Strong aptitude with mathematical skills and data analysis

Requirements
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll laws and regulations and other related areas of compliance.
  • Experience with Workday HRIS; ADP (or other payroll providers).
  • Capacity to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with outstanding customer service skills.
  • Must be highly motivated, able to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and sort through information to resolve complex and abstract issues, and reconcile complicated and detailed data.
  • Solid understanding of accounting theories and practices, and previous general ledger and journal entry experience.
  • Commitment to tasks, able to maintain composure during stressful situations.
