Vylor, Inc. is set to become Corteva’s new standalone payroll hub in Spain, delivering complex payroll operations and data inputs for multiple markets.

The Payroll Analyst will support accurate payroll processing, data validation, and regulatory compliance across assigned markets. You will collaborate with HR, Finance, IT and external vendors to implement process improvements, ensure timely payroll delivery, and manage inquiries and audits.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years hands-on experience in Spanish payroll administration and knowledge of payroll legislation, social security, taxation, and reporting.
  • Experience with payroll in other countries is highly valued.
  • Experience managing accounts payable, vendor invoicing, and related platforms.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; proficient Excel user.
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently within a team.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate and resolve overpayments/underpayments and provide employee support.
  • Handle complex inquiries via Case Management system; manage escalations.
  • Ensure compliance with local policies and regulatory contexts across markets.
  • Execute data analytics, reporting requests, audits, and expat payroll processing.
  • Coordinate with payroll vendors for system changes, testing, and production migration.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, Treasury, IT to resolve payroll issues and implement enhancements.
  • Support general ledger reconciliation and payroll-related queries from Finance.
  • Lead payroll projects (M&A, Open Enrollment) and cross-functional initiatives.

The Payroll Analyst is an important member of the EMEA Payroll team. The Payroll Specialist will be focused on executing complex processes associated with the payroll operations. This role will be responsible for supporting the payroll operations in the compilation and uploading of complex data inputs, reviewing data inputs prior to the processing of payroll and reconciling payroll outputs to ensure accurate and compliant payrolls across the assigned markets. Finally, The Payroll Analyst will be responsible for serving as an agent of change to transform current payroll operations to achieve the target service delivery model. They will work closely with business partners in understanding requested changes and submitting them to the payroll vendors, testing results and migrating to production.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Investigate, validate, correct, and provide employee support with overpayments/underpayments when identified/required.
  • Respond to complex employees/manager inquiries through the Case Management system; handles escalated situations.
  • Adhere to policies, procedures, and standards across assigned markets and within the local regulatory context.
  • Execute complex activities associated with the input and payroll, such as data analytics, reporting requests, audits and the processing of expat payroll data
  • Liaise with payroll vendors to process payroll accurately and timely as well as coordinate system configuration changes (system change requests) include requirements gathering, documentation, testing, training, and communications.
  • Partner with regional representatives from other functions (e.g., HR, Finance, Treasury, IT) to participate in the resolution of complex payroll issues and new processing enhancements or legislative changes.
  • Support Finance/Accounting with complex questions on the reconciliation of general ledger interface issues
  • Partner with other members of the Payroll Services Team to identify operational payroll improvements opportunities documenting the recommendation and presenting to leadership.
  • Work with Government authorities on audits and requests
  • Lead special payroll projects (e.g., M&A activities, Open Enrollment, vendor change requests) and cross‑functional projects with payroll dependency.
SKILLS
  • Minimum of 4 years of hands‑on experience in Spanish payroll administration, with a strong understanding of payroll legislation, social security, taxation, reporting requirements, and end‑to‑end payroll processes.
  • Experience with payroll administration in other countries will be highly valued
  • Experience managing accounts payable processes, vendor billing activities, and invoicing platforms.
  • Skill in both verbal and written communications
  • Proficient user of Excel knowing how to use complex calculations
  • Ability to multi‑task and juggle multiple concurrent priorities
  • Independent worker and collaborative team player
  • Experience in managing relationships with payroll vendors and providers, highly preferred
