This role is execution‑focused, with primary ownership of molecular diagnostics workflows, and operates in close coordination with the Pathology Leader and cross‑functional partners.The position is critical to sustaining operational throughput, data quality, and turnaround time as the Sevilla Pathology lab expands its molecular and high‑throughput phenotyping capabilities.Key AccountabilitiesExecute and coordinate PCR and RT‑PCR‑based pathogen diagnostics with high accuracy and consistency.Provide scientific input into phenotyping strategies and disease screening approachesOwn daily molecular workflows include sample preparation, assay execution, and results delivery.Support greenhouse disease phenotyping activities, ensuring alignment between phenotypic and molecular data.Ensure data quality, traceability, and documentation across lab workflows.Contribute to SOP adherence and continuous improvement of lab processes.Contribute to medium and long‑term pathology strategy, including technology upgrades and capability expansion.Required QualificationsMaster’s degree in plant Pathology, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or related discipline.Hands‑on experience with PCR / RT‑PCR and pathogen detection.Experience working in an applied research or diagnostic laboratory environment.Strong execution mindset with attention to detail and data quality.Preferred QualificationsExperience with plant pathogens and disease diagnostics.Exposure to greenhouse or controlled‑environment phenotyping.English and Spanish language skills.Corteva announced to separate our current advanced seed and genetics business to establish a standalone company, operating as Vylor, Inc.
