Job summary

H1 Spanish is a vibrant language academy located in Poblenou’s tech district in Barcelona. We focus on practical, engaging learning for expats in BCN and seek a role focused on partnerships and operations.

The ideal candidate will drive partnerships with local businesses, coordinate enrollment and daily operations, and support recruitment and invoicing in English and Spanish. On-site position with startup-style adaptability.

Qualifications

• Operational and organizational skills, scheduling, coordination, and basic administrative processes.
• Partnership development and relationship-building with ability to identify, negotiate, and maintain collaborations.
• Clear written and spoken English; Spanish language skills are beneficial.
• Comfort working in a school environment with a student-centered mindset and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently on-site in Barcelona.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outreach, negotiate terms and manage ongoing partnerships

• Handle incoming student inquiries and manage new leads professionally in English and Spanish
• Coordinate the students’ enrollment process
• Keep internal databases up to date
• Perform daily reception tasks, welcoming students, answering questions and ensuring the day-to-day operation of the academy
• Confirm and plan the weekly class schedule
• Participate in recruitment processes
• Manage invoicing, track payments and handle basic financial administration
