Escola Innova Salou SL in Cambrils is seeking a passionate English teacher for after-school programs in Tarragona. This part-time role focuses on delivering engaging, activity-led English lessons to children, with creative activities and a supportive team.

You should have an education- or language-related degree (or be studying) and strong English skills. A valid work permit is required. Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays 12:30–15:00 and 16:30–17:30, 9 hours per week.

Formación

• 1 year of experience in education or youth work.
• Bachelor’s or current studies in Education or Languages preferred.
• Valid work permit required.

Responsabilidades

• Impart English classes to children and youths, fostering active and motivating learning.
• Design and run dynamic, creative activities tailored to age and level.
• Create a positive, stimulating environment encouraging participation and confidence in English.
• Build personal connections with learners, showing empathy and addressing individual needs.
• Enhance speaking skills through games, songs, projects and interactive resources.
• Track learner progress and adapt activities to support development.
• Maintain fluent communication with team and families as needed to ensure coherence and quality.

Tareas

• Impartir clases extraescolares de inglés a niños y/o jóvenes, fomentando un aprendizaje activo y motivador.


• Diseñar y llevar a cabo actividades dinámicas, creativas y adaptadas al nivel y la edad del alumnado.


• Crear un ambiente positivo y estimulante que fomente la participación y la confianza en el uso del inglés.


• Establecer una conexión personal con el alumnado, mostrando empatía y atendiendo a sus emociones y necesidades individuales.


• Potenciar las habilidades comunicativas mediante juegos, canciones, proyectos y otros recursos interactivos.


• Hacer un seguimiento del progreso del alumnado y adaptar las actividades para favorecer su desarrollo.


• Mantener una comunicación fluida con el equipo y, si es necesario, con las familias, para garantizar la coherencia y la calidad del aprendizaje.

Requisitos

Experiencia: 1 año. Se valorará positivamente la experiencia previa en el sector de la educación o en ámbitos similares relacionados con el trabajo con niños y jóvenes.

Inglés: nivel superior (oral y escrito).

• Dominio de la lengua inglesa, tanto oral como escrita.


• Creatividad y capacidad para diseñar actividades dinámicas y motivadoras.


• Empatía y sensibilidad para comprender y gestionar las emociones del alumnado.


• Habilidades comunicativas claras y efectivas con alumnos, familias y equipo.


• Capacidad de adaptación a diferentes edades, niveles y necesidades educativas.


• Paciencia y actitud positiva ante los retos del aula.


• Organización y planificación de contenidos y materiales.


• Capacidad para trabajar en equipo y colaborar con otros profesionales.
