Hubbell Inc. is seeking a Paint Operator in Málaga, Spain to prepare surfaces and apply epoxy and urethane wet paints for high-grade finishes on parts or products.

You will apply masking, tune spray guns, and maintain equipment while following safety protocols and supervisor instructions. The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and basic arithmetic skills.

Formación

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1+ years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Basic arithmetic skills.
  • Ability to prioritize workload, multitask, and complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Knowledge of safety equipment usage.
  • Ability to use hand tools (gages, guns, and pumps) required.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds (required).
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time (required).

Responsabilidades

  • Apply masking tape and caps to protect parts not to be coated.
  • Apply wet coat surfaces with epoxy and urethane coatings.
  • Adjust valves on spray guns to regulate spray width and pressure.
  • Pull trigger and direct spray onto work surface.
  • Clean and maintain spray equipment and booth.
  • Suggest improvements to supervisors for assigned work.
  • Follow written and verbal instructions from lead person and supervisors.
  • Operate all equipment safely and inspect own work for conformity.

Job Overview

The Paint Operator prepares surfaces and applies epoxy and urethane wet paints to obtain high-grade finishes on parts or products.

A Day In The Life

Every day at Hubbell is different and you’ll contribute in many ways. On any given day, you’ll make a difference by:

  • Applying masking tape and/or caps to protect parts and components that are not to be coated.
  • Applying wet coat surfaces of manufactured products with epoxy and urethane coatings.
  • Adjust valves on spray guns to regulate the width and pressure of spray.
  • Pull trigger and direct spray onto the work surface to apply prime or finish coat.
  • Properly cleaning and maintaining all spray equipment including booth maintenance.
  • Making suggestions to supervisors for improvements associated with assigned work.
  • Following instructions, both written and verbal, from the lead person and production supervisors.
  • Operating all equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
    Inspect your own work for conformity to standards.
