Hubbell Incorporated seeks a Screw Machine Setup / Operator to set up and operate screw machines in our facility. Responsibilities include setting up CAM-driven production equipment and running machines while adhering to ISO, safety, and 5-S requirements.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on screw machine experience and the ability to read safety rules, operating manuals, and procedure documents. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure are essential.

Job Overview

Screw Machine Setup / Operate

Individual will perform screw machine setup and/or run machinery, consistent with current ISO requirements, safety requirements, and 5-S requirements.

Screw Machine Set-Up Operators Ideal candidates may receive but not limited to:

• Set-up of Mechanical Cam Driven Production Equipment
• ASE-Certified Auto Mechanics
• Pervious Screw Machine set-up experience.

Preferred Skills:

To be able to setup and operate screw machines.

Language Skills - Good communication skills are key. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Mathematical Skills- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Experience working with consolidations.

Reasoning Ability- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Need to be able to exercise good judgment and decision making skills. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Computer Skills- To perform this job successfully, an individual should haveOther Skills and Abilities Must be detail oriented. Must be organized and have the ability and drive to meet deadlines and work under pressure.

Other Qualification:Must be able to lift up to 35/lbs.
