Job summary

Making Science Group S.A. is seeking a Paid Search Manager to lead the end-to-end management and optimization of client search engine advertising. You will mentor a team of specialists, implement advanced strategies, and ensure performance targets across Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, and Amazon Ads.

You’ll drive reporting, data-driven insights, and growth opportunities, managing budgets and collaborating with clients and partners to maximize ROI across campaigns and platforms.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience leading small teams or mentoring specialists.
• Advanced expertise in Google Ads (including SA360), Microsoft Advertising, and Amazon Ads.
• Proficiency in GA4 and Looker Studio for performance tracking.
• Active use of GenAI tools (Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude) to optimize tasks.
• Familiarity with automation tools (Zapier or Make) and visual AI tools.

What we’d like you to do

As aPaid Search Manager, you are responsible for the end-to-end management and optimization of our clients' search engine advertising. You will lead a team of specialists, ensuring operational excellence and the implementation of advanced search strategies to achieve performance targets.

• Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead and supervise a team of Paid Search specialists, providing guidance, conducting performance reviews, and ensuring their daily professional development.
• Campaign Execution & Optimization: Oversee the daily management of complex Paid Search accounts (Search, Shopping, and Performance Max), ensuring best practices and high-quality delivery.
• Tactical Innovation: Implement emerging technologies and AI-driven automation within the team’s workflow to improve efficiency and campaign results.
• Client & Partner Relationship: Maintain fluid communication with clients to explain results and manage day-to-day relationships with search partners (Google, Microsoft, Amazon) at an account level.
• Reporting & Data Analysis: Create and monitor detailed reporting structures, translating raw data into actionable insights that align with the client’s business KPIs.
• Growth & Upselling: Identify opportunities within existing accounts to implement new search features, automation scripts, or expand services to drive better ROI.
• Budget Management: Responsible for the accurate pacing and allocation of client budgets, ensuring spend efficiency and avoiding deviations.

What we’d like you to bring

We are looking for a visionary leader with deep technical roots, a data-driven approach to success, and a strong background in people management.

• You have at least 2 years of experience managing small teams or mentoring specialists, focusing on workload balance and technical quality.
• Advanced expertise in Google Ads (including SA360), Microsoft Advertising, and Amazon Ads. You are comfortable working with automated bidding and scripts.
• Proficiency in GA4 and Looker Studio for performance tracking and storytelling through data.
• Active user of GenAI tools like Gemini, ChatGPT, and Claude to optimize ad copy, analysis, and daily tasks. Familiarity with automation via Zapier or Make is a plus.
• Ability to leverage visual AI tools (Midjourney, Nano Banana) to enhance assets for Performance Max and visual search formats.
• Excellent written and spoken English skills are required for collaboration in a global environment.
• High scores in Teamwork, Problem Solving, and Time Management.
