Amentum is seeking a Materials Control Specialist for a US Navy program on Diego Garcia. The role covers stock control, inventory management, material sorting/identification/retrograde, and warehousing in support of the assigned program.

Responsibilities include coordinating retrograde and shipment, record-keeping, materials verification, and compliance with safety and quality procedures. Must have 4+ years logistics experience and be eligible for international travel.

Formación

• Knowledge of asset management, warehouse processes, and distribution administration.
• Minimum four (4) years of military and/or civilian logistics experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in cargo documentation and logistical movement control.
• Ability to analyze and evaluate logistics management information system reports.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English at required level for contract.
• Must possess a valid passport and be able to travel internationally.
• Visa eligibility and international deployment requirements may apply.
• Ability to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate materials for retrograde, issue, repackaging, storage, disposal, or shipment to locations.
• Prepare materials for shipment with proper blocking, bracing, crating, and packing.
• Identify materials by proper military class of supply.
• Maintain records and provide traceability through inventory management systems.
• Verify materials against documents and record discrepancies or damage.
• Inspect stored materials for deterioration and arrange disposal.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
