Qualifications

• Experience managing teams in a logistics environment.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment (reach truck, forklift, pallet truck, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of logistics processes, including order picking, inventory management, and warehouse organization.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and related IT tools.
• Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Plan operations and organize the team according to workload, priorities, and resources.
• Supervise and coach picking operators and receiving operators.
• Plan order waves based on priorities, storage capacity, and processing times.
• Manage warehouse location replenishment.
• Ensure staff safety and compliance with policies, procedures and regulations.

What will your mission be?

You will be responsible for the overall management of the team and the planning of activities according to workload and available resources, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with safety and quality standards.

What will you be doing?

• Planning operations and organizing the team according to workload volumes and priorities.
• Supervising and coaching picking operators (order preparation staff) and receiving operators.
• Planning order waves based on priorities, storage capacity, and processing times.
• Managing warehouse location replenishment.
• Ensuring staff safety and compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Proposing action plans and continuous improvement initiatives, as well as managing and resolving operational issues under the supervision of the Operations Manager.

You've got

• Previous experience managing teams in a logistics environment.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment (reach truck, forklift, pallet truck, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of logistics processes, including order picking, inventory management, and warehouse organization.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in IT tools and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Proactive mindset and a strong focus on continuous improvement.
