Amazon Data Services Spain, S.L. is seeking a Data Center Manager to lead and develop high-performing technical teams, and to drive the future of cloud infrastructure.

You will oversee operations, optimize processes, and guide expansion of data centers across our global network. Applicants should have a proven track record in people management, project delivery in complex settings, and strong collaboration with business leaders.

To be successful in this role you don't have to have worked in a Data Center previously or in an IT related role. If you are a proven people manager, with success of developing a team through change and ambiguity, then this could be the role for you.

Key job responsibilities

• Lead and develop high-performing technical teams, providing strategic guidance and fostering professional growth
• Optimize data center operations through continuous process improvement and innovative solutions
• Manage infrastructure projects, including maintenance of existing facilities and strategic expansion of new data centers

Basic Qualifications

• Experience in people management and team development
• Experience managing complex and fast-moving issues
• Experience partnering with business leaders in highly complex and dynamic business settings
• Valid driver's license with access to a personal vehicle for daily use
• Speak, write, and read fluently in English, and have the ability to take direction in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing a technical team
• Experience owning the operation of a mission-critical team or product
