Amazon Data Services Spain, S.L. is seeking a Data Center Facility Manager to oversee engineering operations across our data center network in Spain.

You will guard critical environments, ensure reliable power and cooling, and drive resilience across availability zones. This role blends strategic oversight with hands-on problem solving, coordinating with cross-functional teams, vendors, and operations staff to maintain uptime and safety.

Key job responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive engineering operations and maintenance across our data center availability zones
• Manage infrastructure build-out, project timelines, and vendor relationships
• Oversee critical mechanical and electrical service availability
• Develop and implement risk management strategies
• Coordinate cross-functional projects to optimize facility performance and safety

You'll navigate complex facility challenges, coordinate with cross‑functional teams, and ensure our data centers operate with precision and reliability. Basic Qualifications

• Experience in people management and team development
• Experience in engineering work, managing large‑scale services
• Experience operating a mission‑critical team or product
• Knowledge of the electrical and mechanical systems involved in critical data center operations including systems such as feeders, transformers, generators, switchgear, UPS systems, ATS units, PDU units, chillers, pumps, air handling units, and CRAC units

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Experience working in data centers with an emphasis on building and equipment operation
