Amazon Data Services Spain, S.L. is seeking an Infrastructure Delivery Cluster Manager to lead the deployment of network capacity and equipment across the global data center platform.

You will manage a growing team of data center technicians while driving process improvements and automation to enhance operational excellence and reduce delivery timelines. You will balance strategic oversight with hands-on leadership, coordinating deployment of equipment and cabling across multiple data center

Join AWS as an Infrastructure Delivery Cluster Manager and lead the implementation of network capacity and equipment across our global data center platform. You'll manage a growing team of skilled technicians while driving process improvements and automation that enhance operational excellence and reduce delivery timelines.

Key job responsibilities
  • Manage the implementation and delivery of inbound capacity and equipment through all deployment stages, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a growing team of data center technicians and operators, providing coaching, documentation, and clear performance expectations.
  • Design, refine, and implement processes and standards that optimize operational excellence, drive automation opportunities, and reduce delivery cycle times.
  • Coordinate team resources across projects of varying sizes, including emergency initiatives, change management, and maintenance window support.
  • Establish and maintain compliance with industry best practices, required service level agreements, and Amazon performance management requirements.
A day in the life

As an Infrastructure Delivery Cluster Manager at AWS, you'll balance strategic oversight with hands‑on leadership. Your day might include coordinating the deployment of network equipment and cabling infrastructure across multiple data center stages, mentoring your team through complex technical challenges, collaborating with internal partners and external vendors to optimize delivery timelines, and prioritizing shifting demands in real‑time from managing inbound capacity to supporting emergency projects and maintenance windows. Your role bridges technical expertise with people leadership, ensuring your team has the guidance and resources needed to succeed while maintaining the high standards AWS is known for.

We are expanding our infrastructure management team within AWS to support the rapid growth of our data center operations globally. Our team is committed to delivering network capacity on time with zero rework—a mission that requires both technical depth and collaborative leadership. We work across multiple operational stages, from facilities under development to fully operational sites, serving internal teams and external stakeholders who depend on our infrastructure. As a member of this team, you'll contribute to our vision of building and operating world‑class data centers while developing a high‑performing group of technicians and operators. Basic Qualifications
  • Experience in engineering work, managing large-scale services.
  • Experience in written and verbal communication skills to communicate with technical and non‑technical audiences, including senior leadership.
  • Experience delivering projects within scope, time, budget and quality.
  • Experience prioritizing and delivering projects on time in a fast‑moving environment.
  • Experience in people management and team development.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of network design, protocols and Layer 1/2 troubleshooting.
  • Experience in computer architecture, or experience with general troubleshooting/debugging of hardware.
  • Experience in data center engineering or operations.
  • MBA, or advanced degree.
  • Knowledge of fiber optic and copper cabling standards, testing equipment and troubleshooting methodologies.
