Tomorrowland is expanding its operations to Ibiza and seeks a hands-on Operations Director to oversee day-to-day activities, across departments, ensuring seamless guest experiences and operational excellence throughout the season.

The role leads GA, VIP, Artist, Production, IT, Safety and Facilities, coordinating with F&B, Commercial, Finance, HR and Security to deliver high-profile events while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance in the Balearic environment.

Formación

• Proven senior operational leadership experience within luxury hospitality, nightlife, events or high-volume venues.
• Strong experience managing GA operations, VIP/premium hospitality and high-profile events.
• Proven experience overseeing artist operations teams.
• Experience leading large, multicultural and multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced, seasonal environments.
• Strong understanding of operational budgets, labour productivity, resource planning, cost control and revenue protection.
• Extensive experience coordinating F&B, Production, Security, Ticketing, Sales & Marketing, Technical, Finance, HR and external partners.
• Strong knowledge of health & safety, licensing, compliance, risk management and emergency procedures.
• Experience with pre-opening, operational readiness, peak-season management and incident management.
• Strong knowledge of Ibiza/Balearic Islands operating environment and local regulations.
• Fluent Spanish and English required.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the day-to-day operation and overall operational performance of the venue.
• Drive pre-opening planning and readiness, ensuring teams, suppliers, systems, equipment and procedures are fully prepared and tested.
• Establish clear operational standards, processes and ways of working.
• Ensure appropriate staffing, resources and capacity according to business and guest requirements.
• Maintain a strong on-site presence during peak periods and major events.
• Lead and coordinate all departments within the Operations structure.
• Provide clear direction, priorities and accountability to Department Heads.
• Ensure effective workforce planning, productivity and operational coverage.
• Build a collaborative, accountable and service-oriented operational culture.
• Oversee GA, entrances, guest flows, capacity management and VIP/table operations.
• Ensure operational capacity and resources are aligned with commercial requirements and guest volumes.
• Oversee all operational artist coordination.
• Monitor guest experience, service standards and operational bottlenecks, taking corrective action when required.
• Coordinate Production/AV, IT, Maintenance, Cleaning & Laundry, Shop and Mobility to ensure seamless daily operations.
• Ensure critical systems, facilities and technical requirements are operational and properly supported.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, licensing, regulatory and risk-management requirements.
• Maintain effective emergency, contingency and business continuity procedures.
• Work closely with the General Manager and Finance on budgets, labour costs, resource planning and operational efficiency.
• Establish and monitor operational KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
• Act as the central operational coordination point across F&B, Commercial, Creative, Finance, HR, Security, Production, Artist Operations and Ticketing.
• Ensure alignment with Tomorrowland HQ and adapt operations to the specific requirements of Ibiza and the Balearic Islands.
• Take ownership of significant operational issues and make timely decisions in high-pressure situations.
• Coordinate contingency and emergency responses, prioritising safety, guest experience and business continuity.
• Lead post-event and post-season reviews, implementing corrective actions and continuous improvements.

Tomorrowland is expanding its activities to Ibiza and is therefore looking for a hands-on and experienced Operations Director to oversee all day-to-day activities and ensure seamless execution across departments. This is a unique opportunity to be part of an exciting new project on the island, where operational excellence, innovation, and guest satisfaction are key to creating unforgettable experiences.

ROLE PURPOSE

The Operations Director will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day operational management, translating the Tomorrowland concept and vision into a seamless, consistent and operationally executable guest experience.

The role will lead the operational departments within its structure, ensuring strong coordination, operational excellence and consistent service standards throughout the season.

Key areas include Guest & Entrance Operations, VIP, Artist Operations, Production & AV, IT, Health & Safety, Maintenance, Cleaning & Laundry, Shop and Mobility, while working closely with F&B, Commercial, Finance, HR, Security and Creative.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Overall Operations & Operational Readiness

• Lead the day-to-day operation and overall operational performance of the venue.
