Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal in Spain is hiring ambitious interns for a 6-month Off-Cycle program within the Financial & Operational Restructuring team in Madrid. You will support engagements for lenders and corporates, contribute to financial analyses, capital structure reviews and ad-hoc analyses using Excel and PowerPoint.

Eligible candidates are enrolled in a Master's or in the final year of an undergraduate degree in Business or Engineering, with fluent English and Spanish, strong analytical skills,

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Master's or final year of undergraduate degree in Business, Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong financial and analytical foundation: accounting fundamentals and corporate finance basics.
• Clear written and verbal communication in English and Spanish.
• Proactive, team-oriented attitude.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Responsibilities

• Financial analysis of target companies' performance (P&L, cash flow).
• Support in business plan reviews and capital structure analysis.
• Prepare ad-hoc analyses for turnaround processes.
• Produce client deliverables using advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
• Support pitches and commercial initiatives: research company financials and turn findings into pitch material.
