Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal in Madrid invites you to join its Private Equity Performance Improvement team as an Intern. You will work with client-facing teams on live engagements, gaining exposure to sectors and engagements, taking ownership of meaningful work.

This internship offers hands-on experience, mentorship from experienced colleagues, and opportunities to develop commercial thinking, analytical problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Engineering, Business Administration or similar.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritise – especially in highly pressured situations.
• Some Excel modelling skills.
• Fluent business level English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Working closely with senior management to support business development initiatives.
• Conducting essential strategic research and market analysis.
• Performing research on potential targets and helping to prepare “points of view” documents.
• Supporting commercial activities, including preparing materials for client pitches.
• Assisting in intelligence management on forthcoming deals.
