Westinghouse Electric Company LLC is seeking a Licensing Engineer II for a hybrid role located in Vila-Seca, Spain. The position focuses on preparing safety evaluations and ALARA analyses, with responsibilities for licensing submittals and regulatory interfaces.

Ideal candidates hold a engineering degree, have 3+ years of professional experience in engineering, and are fluent in Spanish and English. International travel will be required as part of project work.

Formación

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of professional engineering experience, preferably in nuclear or regulated industries.
• Availability for international travel.
• Interest in U.S. and international regulatory processes for nuclear power plants.
• Experience working with utilities, engineering organizations, vendors, or nuclear regulatory authorities is valued.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in local and international projects within the Licensing discipline.
• Report to the technical lead of the Vila-seca Licensing group.
• Apply knowledge of design, construction, operation and decommissioning of nuclear power plants.
• Apply knowledge of U.S. and international nuclear regulations and licensing processes.
• Create licensing and technical submittals for utilities and nuclear regulators.
• Work in teams to resolve critical issues affecting construction and operation of nuclear power plants.
• Develop a business relationship with other Westinghouse engineers and customers.
