Westinghouse Electric Company in Vila-Seca, Spain, is seeking a Licensing Engineer II to prepare Safety Evaluations for Design Changes, ALARA analyses, and Environmental Assessments. This full-time role combines licensing tasks with collaboration across engineering teams.

You will report to the Supervisory Engineer of Licensing and work in a hybrid environment, with international travel as needed and a focus on applying US and international regulatory knowledge to nuclear power plant projects.

Formación

• Bachelor or master's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of professional engineering experience, preferably within the nuclear industry.
• Availability for international travel.
• Fluent in written and spoken Spanish and English (minimum B2 level or equivalent).
• EU citizen, authorized to work in Spain.
• We will value previous knowledge of or experience in the nuclear sector.
• Interest in developing knowledge of U.S. and international regulatory processes for nuclear power plants.
• We consider experience working with utilities, engineering organizations, vendors, or nuclear regulatory authorities.
• We will provide position-specific training and professional development opportunities.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in local and international projects developing multiple assignments within the Licensing discipline.
• Report directly to the technical lead of the Vila-seca Licensing group.
• Apply and expand knowledge of the design, construction, operation and decommissioning of nuclear power plants.
• Apply knowledge of U.S. and international nuclear regulations and licensing processes.
• Create licensing and technical submittals for utilities and nuclear regulators.
• Work in teams to resolve critical issues affecting the construction and operation of nuclear power plant.
• Develop a business relationship with other Westinghouse engineers and our customers.
