Exoscale, a leading European cloud service provider, seeks a software engineer to join the network team and own orchestration from merged PR to production rollout. You will work on a code-driven network where configuration is generated from truth sources, validated early, rolled out progressively, and rolled back safely if needed.

Qualifications

• Solid professional experience designing, writing, and maintaining production software in Go and Python.
• Experience building CI/CD or deployment systems where a rollout has real consequences.
• Habit of testing what you ship and automating repetitive tasks.
• Working understanding of networking fundamentals (IP, routing, VLANs, BGP).
• Strong written and spoken English and comfort working in a distributed team.

Responsabilités

• Design and build orchestration of network changes with pre-change validation, staged rollout, post-change verification, and rollback.
• Write services and tooling in Go and Python with tests, CI, and observability.
• Build a test environment (virtual labs, config/state checks) to catch bad changes before deployment.
• Extend source-of-truth and config-generation tooling (NetBox, Peering Manager, Ansible/Jinja2) using data-driven networks.
• Detect drift between intended and running config and expose it to the team.
