Job summary

Exoscale in Europe is hiring a Site Reliability Engineer for its Core Platform and security components, focusing on designing, developing and maintaining the platform.

You will work on PKI, secrets management, automation, and DX improvements; remote-friendly with flexible hours, in a distributed team across EU.

Ideal candidates are proficient in Golang, Linux, Kubernetes, and Vault, with strong English communication and a passion for scalable systems.

Qualifications

• Experience with Linux, including networking and security filtering.
• Knowledge of platform security components and PKI systems; Vault is a plus.
• Proficient in Golang.
• Familiar with service discovery and DNS at scale.
• Experienced in containerization and orchestration (Kubernetes is a plus).
• Comfortable working with KVM virtualization.
• Skilled in configuration management and large-scale infrastructure.
• Passionate about automation and reducing manual effort.
• Team players in distributed teams and strong English communication.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain our core Linux-based platform ecosystem.
• Develop and manage PKI, secrets management, and security systems.
• Contribute to internal platform tooling, automation, and orchestration.
• Enhance the developer experience by delivering self-service systems and pipelines.
• Participate in architecture and design of platform systems.
• Improve processes for scalability, security, and high availability.
• Join on-call rotation after training.
