Exoscale, a leading European cloud service provider, seeks a software engineer to join the network team and own orchestration from merged PR to production rollout. You will work on a code-driven network where configuration is generated from truth sources, validated early, rolled out progressively, and rolled back safely if needed.
You will collaborate with engineers who design the backbone, ensuring fast, safe network changes, while contributing to test environments, tooling extensions, and
Exoscale is the leading Swiss/European cloud service provider, offering a full spectrum of cloud infrastructure services—from instantly deployable virtual machines to S3-compatible object storage. Our mission is to deliver a simple, scalable cloud experience that enables our customers to focus on what they do best.
We’re a distributed team headquartered in Lausanne, driven by a culture of openness, technical excellence, and collaboration. We value diversity and strive to provide an inclusive, flexible, and empowering work environment.
Our network team builds and runs Exoscale's network: the edge, the datacenter fabrics, and the out-of-band network across all of our European zones. We are hiring a full-time software engineer to join that team and own one thing: the orchestration that takes a network change from a merged pull request to running on production devices, automatically and safely.
Today our network is described as code. Device configuration is generated from our sources of truth and reviewed in pull requests. The step after that, rolling the change out to the network, still depends too much on an engineer at a terminal. We want that to become an orchestrated workflow, with the guarantees software teams take for granted from their deployment pipelines: validated before it ships, rolled out progressively, verified afterwards, and rolled back when something looks wrong.
This is a software engineering role inside a network team. You will not be expected to design the backbone, but you will work every day with the engineers who do, and what you build decides how fast and how safely they can change it.

You are a software engineer first, and you find infrastructure more interesting than CRUD apps. You may come from a network automation, SRE, or platform engineering background.
We’re excited to meet you—help us build the future of European cloud infrastructure.
