Ookla is seeking a Network Data Analyst to translate large-scale data into actionable insights for customers and internal teams across pre-sales and post-sales use cases. The role emphasizes analytical methods applied to telecom and network performance metrics, with crowdsourced data experience as a strong plus.

You will collaborate with Data Engineering and Product teams to ensure data quality and usability, delivering data stories and benchmarks to drive solution value and adoption.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or BI roles within the telecommunications or connectivity domain.
• Strong SQL skills and experience querying large-scale datasets.
• Experience using Python or R for data analysis and modeling.
• Foundational understanding of mobile, broadband, or internet network performance metrics.
• Experience working with crowdsourced or large-scale observational datasets strongly preferred.
• Ability to communicate analytical insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Comfort operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze large-scale telecommunications and network performance datasets to generate insights.
• Support pre-sales engagements with customer-specific analysis, benchmarks, and data-driven insights.
• Apply established methodologies to customer, market, and competitive questions.
• Develop clear, customer-ready insights, visualizations, and data stories.
• Collaborate with Sales and Customer Solutions during deal qualification and validation.
• Provide post-sale analysis and validation to inform adoption and outcomes.
