Job summary

GMV is seeking an experienced Navigation Algorithm Engineer to contribute to aerospace navigation systems within the defense sector. You will analyze and fuse data from inertial sensors, GNSS receivers, and other avionics components, and develop prototypes of navigation algorithms.

You will participate in data collection campaigns, evaluate algorithm performance, and perform post-processing analysis to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Industrial/Aeronautical engineers or similar with experience in algorithm development
• Interest in aeronautical systems and related domains
• Strong programming skills in C/C++ and Python viewed favorably

Responsibilities

• Analyze navigation algorithms, including sensor fusion (inertial sensors, GNSS receivers, radio altimeter, air data, etc.)
• Develop prototypes of navigation algorithms

WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?

As part of our team, you will contribute to develop algorithms for aeronautical navigation systems in the defense sector. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Analysis of navigation algorithms, including processing and fusion of different sensors (i.E., inertial sensors, GNSS receivers, radio altimeter, air data, etc.).
• Development of prototypes of navigation algorithms.
• Development of data collection campaigns to evaluate algorithm performance.
• Post-processing and analysis of navigation algorithm data.

WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?

For this position, we are looking for Industrial/Aeronautical engineers or similar with experience in algorithm development and with an interest in aeronautical systems. We will also value knowledge in:

• Knowledge in navigation algorithms
• Knowledge in algorithm prototyping (e.G., in MATLAB/Simulink)
• Knowledge in software development (including programming in C/C++, Python, etc.)
• Knowledge in avionics systems
• Knowledge in navigation systems
