The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in complex mining projects, especially in iron ore processing, while exhibiting strong leadership and technical expertise in project management.

This role involves defining project scope, leading project design development, managing project plans, and optimizing processes to enhance efficiency while ensuring compliance with regulations.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Mining Engineering or a related field.
• Expertise in process optimization, capacity upgrades, and de-bottlenecking.
• Proven experience managing large-scale projects with budgets exceeding $250 million.
• Strong background in process flowsheet development and regulatory compliance.
• Experience in full lifecycle EPCM delivery managing contractors and site construction.
• Strong commercial, contract and change management experience.
• Proficiency in project management software and engineering software.

Responsabilidades

• Define project scope, objectives and deliverables to align with organizational strategy.
• Lead the development of detailed project designs and specifications.
• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including schedules and budgets.
• Conduct due diligence assessments and feasibility studies for new projects.
• Drive process optimization initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure consistent engineering practices across capital projects.
• Develop and maintain a Project Engineering Management framework.
