IDOM is seeking a Mining Engineer specialized in Geotechnics to develop geotechnical and tunnel designs for national and international projects in its Infrastructure area in Madrid or Bilbao offices.

You will work in a multidisciplinary environment with access to the latest technologies, aiming to grow professionally and push boundaries while supporting project delivery and collaboration.

Formación

• Bachelor's/Master's in Mining Engineering with Geotechnics/Underground Works.
• Knowledge of soil and rock mechanics.
• Knowledge of seismic analysis and liquefaction.
• Geotechnical design: foundations, slope stability, settlement, dewatering, retaining walls.
• Experience in tunnel and underground works design and construction.
• Proficiency with PLAXIS 2D/3D and Rocscience.
• Team player with technical excellence; able to work independently.
• Advanced level of English.

ABOUT YOU

Apply if you…

• Hold a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Mining Engineering with a specialization in Geotechnics and/or Underground Works.
• Are interested in deepening your knowledge of soil mechanics and rock mechanics.
• Have knowledge of seismic analysis and liquefaction.
• Have knowledge of geotechnical design (foundations, slope stability, settlement analysis, dewatering, retaining wall design, etc.), as well as ground treatment.
• Are interested in the design and construction of tunnels and underground works.
• Are eager to use and learn specialized geotechnical software such as PLAXIS 2D/3D and Rocscience.
• Are a team player with technical excellence.
• Can work independently with a flair for innovation.
• Do have an advanced level of English.
