Job summary

Amaris Consulting in Barcelona is seeking a Network Security Engineer (NOC) to join an international team supporting a broad portfolio of clients. You will troubleshoot complex network and security incidents, configure devices, and monitor performance across WAN, LAN and VPN environments.

The role requires hands-on experience with Palo Alto or similar firewalls, DMZs, and security monitoring tools, plus strong English communication. Some projects offer remote work options depending on assignment.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years hands-on experience in troubleshooting, packet capture, and configuration of network and security devices
• Solid experience with WAN, LAN, WLAN
• Strong troubleshooting skills for complex network and security incidents
• Familiarity with corporate security standards and internal IT processes

Responsibilities

• Provide second-level technical support for Network and Security Services, including WAN, LAN, WLAN, VLAN
• Lead cross-functional technical task forces for troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and service improvement initiatives
• Conduct proactive monitoring of network and security infrastructure using available tools
• Prepare and document incident reports with proper escalation and follow-up
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure service reliability and performance
