Hempel is seeking an Unified Communications Engineer to lead the Microsoft Teams Phone platform across global sites. You will plan country rollouts, migrations and platform upgrades while delivering reliable voice services for colleagues worldwide.

The role requires hands-on Teams Phone expertise in complex environments, knowledge of Direct Routing, SBCs and PSTN connectivity, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams in a multinational setting.

Qualifications

Proven experience in enterprise voice and unified communications with cloud infrastructure.
Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Teams Phone in a complex enterprise environment.
Understanding of Direct Routing, SBCs, PSTN connectivity, and telephony governance.

Responsibilities

Own and enhance the Microsoft Teams Phone platform for global colleagues.
Manage voice infrastructure, including PSTN, SIP trunks, Direct Routing and SBCs.
Partner with telecom providers for number provisioning, migrations and telephony services.
Act as escalation lead for critical voice incidents and drive documentation.
Ensure governance, compliance and knowledge sharing across IT teams.
