Job summary

Louis Vuitton in Madrid is seeking a Merchandising Advisor for a 1-year internship (6+6 months) to support the Mediterranean Region retail network within the Product and Visual Merchandising team. You will assist VM activities, manage lookbooks, stock orders, and prepare presentations for trainings and regional events.

The role demands fluency in English and Spanish, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced luxury environment.

Qualifications

• Graduated from Business School/University and holding a degree in any related field.
• Must be able to formalize a contrato de prácticas under Spanish labor law (Bachelor or master degree in past 3 years).
• Availability: Monday to Friday, 40 hours/week.

Responsibilities

• Maintain VM calendar products (including product launching calendars, events such as store openings, regional initiatives, etc.).
• Support Area VMs on responsibilities to ensure priorities are visible and deadlines are respected.
• Collect information and photos and consolidate reports to be shared with the Zone team, Mediterranean Regional partners and stores.
• Support building presentations for Product training of the Retail teams.
• Additional projects as identified by Product Manager.

Job description

We are currently looking for a Merchandising Advisor to join the Product and Visual Merchandising team for 1 year (6 + 6 months) “contrato de prácticas” at our Madrid Head Office, giving support to the retail network of the Mediterranean Region (Spain, Portugal, Morocco, Greece, Israel, Kazakhstan & Turkey) and reporting to the Product and Visual Merchandising Team.

The Merchandising Advisor provides various support to Regional/Country Product and VM, contributing to the efficiency and optimal day to day operations of the Merchandising related activities. This is accomplished through the timely management of the operational duties, maintaining the relationship between stores, supporting the overall VM activities for product animations and/or launches at store level as well in regional events. Compilation of lookbooks and modelarios and communication with supply chain to push special requests from stores. Re-stocking orders and deliveries, information collection and reporting of VM activities, control and follow up of props competitor analysis reports.

• Support Area VMs on function responsibilities as needed to make sure that the priorities on the products are visible and respecting the deadlines.

INFORMATION COLLECTION, PRESENTATIONS AND REPORTING

• Collect information and photos and consolidate reports to be shared with the Zone team, Mediterranean Regional partners and store
• Support building presentations for Product training of the Retail teams
• Additional projects as identified by Product Manager

Profile

• Highly motivated & strong personal interest for luxury & consumer goods environment. Keen interest about fashion trends
• Fluent English & Spanish is mandatory (French is a plus).
• Proficiency in computer systems, reporting and programs. Data analysis (Excel) and good written communication (PPT, reports).

REQUIRED PROFILE & EXPERIENCE

• Graduated from Business School/University and holding a degree in in any related field.
• It is mandatory that the candidate can formalize a “contrato de prácticas” based on Spanish labor law (Must have obtained a bachelor or master's degree in the past 3 years)
• Availability: From Monday to Friday, 40 hours/week.
