Legends Global (Europe) is seeking a Merchandiser in Madrid to support the Real Madrid Retail operation across multi-channel channels. You will drive growth, plan stock levels, and ensure products are delivered at the right time and place to maximize profitability within planned stock requirements.

Reporting to the Head of Planning RM Retail, you will manage merchandising systems, collaborate with finance on budgets, produce KPI reports, maintain stock forecasts, and optimize product ranges

Formación

• Three years of merchandising experience in sporting, FMCG, or fashion.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience and/or training.
• Numerical, detail-oriented and extremely organized with the ability to multi-task.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
• Must be able to work in a team environment with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Manage merchandising systems and implement improvements to meet KPI targets.
• Work with finance to produce seasonal cross-channel budgets by week and department.
• Produce accurate weekly KPI reports and implement changes as required.
• Maintain weekly department WSSI’s and reforecast stock levels.
• Recommend open-to-buy and re-buy volumes for continuity product.
• Select the right product range for each store and E-comm site.
• Collaborate with Buying and Marketing to maximize sales and promotions.
• Produce campaign and post-season analysis to inform future buys.
• Manage stock clearance through planned seasonal sales.
• Oversee and guide the Store Visual Merchandiser with training as needed.
• Maximize space and product mix based on store characteristics.
• Maintain market knowledge of rivals and trends.
• Handle other duties assigned by the Head of Planning RM Retail.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our team is growing and we´re looking to fill a Merchandiser position for one of our top clients: the Real Madrid C.F..

The Merchandiser will help drive and support the growth and expansion of the multi-channel retail environment within the Real Madrid Retail business.

They will also plan stock levels throughout retail to deliver sales and margin budgets, ensuring stock is delivered at the right time and right place to maximize profitability within planned stock requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary responsibilities for the Merchandiser - Real Madrid Retail are as follows:

• Manage merchandising systems within retail, suggesting and implements any improvements to help the B&M department deliver annual KPI’s.
• Work with finance to produce seasonal cross channel budgets by week and department, including agreed profit and stock levels.
• Produce accurate weekly KPI reports for the retail team and implement any changes required.
• Maintain all department WSSI’s on a weekly basis, reforecasting when required to maintain appropriate stock levels throughout the season.
• Recommend ‘open to buy’ and re-buy volumes, supporting the management of continuity product to ensure never out of stock.
• Ensure to select the right product range to buy according to each B&M store and E-comm site.
• Work with Buying and Marketing to ensure activity maximizes sales and availability to support any promotions.
• Produce campaign and post seasonal analysis to support future buy volumes and intake in a timely manner.
• Manage stock clearance through planned seasonal sales.
• Oversee and support the Store Visual Merchandiser, giving clear guidance and training as required.
• Maximize the space and products mix depending on the characteristics of each store.
• Maintain a strong market knowledge of sector rivals and trends.
• Other duties and projects as assigned and directed by the Head of Planning RM Retail.

QUALIFICATIONS

At Legends Global, we are looking for an individual with experience in a fast paced and multi-channel retail trading environment where they have shown strong numerical and planning skills with a product range direct to consumer markets.

• A minimum of Three (3) years of merchandising experience within the sporting, FMCG or fashion industry.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience and/or training.
• Numerical and detail-oriented and extremely organized with the ability to multi-task.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
• Must be able to work in a team environment with internal and external stakeholders.
