Floox, based in Madrid, is hiring a Mechanical Design Lead to drive the development of EV charger housings and subassemblies from concept through industrialization.

You will prototype, validate, and transfer designs to production while creating and updating technical documentation and manuals. Collaboration with electronics, software, quality and production teams is essential to ensure robust, manufacturable solutions.

Formación

• Higher Vocational Training in Mechanical Design or related field.
• Proven experience with 3D parametric design software.
• Hands-on experience with Solid Edge is highly valued.
• Knowledge of sheet metal and machining processes.
• Ability to interpret and produce technical drawings and documentation.
• Autonomy in managing day-to-day work with minimal supervision.
• English proficiency for technical documentation and international suppliers.

Responsabilidades

• Mechanical design of housings, chassis, and subassemblies for EV chargers.
• Develop products from concept to industrialization with prototyping and validation.
• Prepare and maintain drawings, BOMs, and specifications.
• Create and update installation and product manuals.
• Provide technical production support for issue resolution.
• Coordinate with suppliers for manufacturing of mechanical parts.
• Collaborate with electronics, software, quality and production teams for integration.
• Analyze and resolve mechanical issues in production or field.
• Continuously improve existing processes and designs.
