IBIMA Plataforma BIONAND in Spain is seeking a graduate or master’s holder for a 12-month scientific-technical contract under project Fort23/00013. The role is based at IBIMA Bionand Platform, Virgen de la Victoria University Hospital, with 35 hours per week and a gross annual salary of €27,595.

Applicants will be evaluated on omics experience, 3D culture, data analysis in Stata/R/Python, and English proficiency.

Formación

• Experience in integrated omics analysis with a minimum of 1 year (0.25 points will be awarded for each additional year of experience up to a maximum of 1 point).
• Experience in 3D in vitro culture (0.5 points will be awarded for each year of experience up to a maximum of 1 point).
• Experience in statistical and bioinformatic analysis using statistical software or programming languages (Stata, R, Python), applying artificial intelligence methodologies, with the aim of generating diagnostic and prognostic predictive models with clinical application (0.5 points will be awarded for each year up to a maximum of 1 point).
• Experience in handling biological samples (0.5 points will be awarded for each year of experience up to a maximum of 1 point).
• Participation in research projects (0.5 points will be awarded per project up to a maximum of 1 point).
• Minimum average academic transcript grade of 8 (0.5 points).

Project: FORT23/00013 IBIMA STRENGTHENS 2023. Funded by the Carlos III Health Institute (ISCIII). Fortalece Program of the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities.

Location: IBIMA Bionand Platform - Located at Virgen de la Victoria University Hospital.

Specific Requirements

Graduate or Degree Holder with a Degree = 300 ECTS assigned to Level 3 (Master's) or Graduate with a Master's (= 300 ECTS) or equivalent in Health/Life Sciences (Pharmacy, Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology…).

Languages ENGLISH Level Excellent

Additional Information

Hiring type: Contract for scientific-technical activities. (art. 23 bis of the Science and Technology Law 14/2011).

Weekly hours: 100% (35 hours/week).
Gross annual salary: €27,595.
Estimated duration: 12 months - The contract is tied to the duration of the project/activity/funding.

Selection process

• Based on the points obtained in the merits evaluation, at least the three best candidates will be selected for a personal interview where communication skills, work aptitude, and abilities will be assessed, with a maximum of 3 points. Only candidates who score at least 50% of the evaluable merits will be eligible for the interview phase.
• After the position is awarded, if the selected candidate declines the contract, the hiring committee can choose to offer it to the next candidate according to the scoring list.
