Job summary

Atrio Search Limited is partnered with a growing personal care chemical manufacturer to recruit a Marketing Director who will lead the global marketing strategy for an R&D-focused cosmetic ingredients business. Location is remote with Asia or Europe preferred and travel to international shows.

Salary is USD 150,000–180,000 with bonus potential. You will work with sales, R&D and technical teams and report to the Sales Director, shaping the future marketing function across regions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 10+ years’ marketing experience in cosmetic ingredients.
• Excellent written and spoken English, with strong presentation skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical, commercial and customer teams.
• An additional language, such as French, German or a Southeast Asian language, would be advantageous.

• Review, reposition and realign the product portfolio to target-market requirements.
• Develop product positioning, marketing strategies and commercial messaging.
• Create programmes and tools to support international sales teams.
• Support trade shows, events, publications and customer presentations.
• Translate market and customer insight into product and business opportunities.
• Work cross-functionally with international teams across Europe, the US and Asia.
• Help build and develop the future marketing function.
• Report to the Sales Director and work cross-functionally with sales, R&D and technical teams.

I am partnered with a growing personal care chemical manufacturing company in the search for a Marketing Director to join their team. This is a newly created role focused on developing the global marketing strategy for an R&D-focused cosmetic ingredients business.

Location: Remote - Asia or Europe preferred.

Salary: USD 150,000–180,000 + bonus.

Travel: International trade shows and customer meetings, including approximately 6 overseas trips per year.
